Program Overview

Here we provide a few key metrics describing the program, including waiting list activity, transplant rates, death rates (mortality rates) on the waiting list, and the number of transplants performed at the program for adults and children combined. You can access more detailed information within the full program report.

Time to Transplant

Candidates registered on the waiting list between January 01 2015 and December 31 2017

Use the selector below to see what percentage of patients underwent transplant at this program within 30 days, 1 year, 2 years, or 3 years. These estimates are based on patients on the program's waiting list in the past and do not necessarily reflect how long a patient added to the list today will wait. Additionally, waiting times are affected by many patient characteristics. You can find more detailed information in the full program report or talk with your care team to learn more.

Transplant Outcomes

For transplants performed between January 01 2018 - June 30 2020

SRTR performs assessments of transplant outcomes every 6 months by looking at the outcomes of patients who underwent transplant over 2.5 years. The table below shows assessments of how often patients are alive with a functioning transplanted organ 1 year after transplant. You can choose to view adult or pediatric outcomes. Of note: 1) for organ types that can use deceased or living donors, outcomes are shown for each individually and combined; 2) the transplant count may be higher than shown earlier on this page because these evaluations are performed over 2.5-years rather than 1 year; 3) as SRTR does not always have assessments for every patient group, some ratings may be not available (N/A); 4) pancreas program outcomes include pancreas-alone and kidney-pancreas combined transplants.
